What is UX and why is it so important?

In short, UX (short for User Experience) is all the experiences, thoughts, and emotions that accompany a user while using a digital product, e.g., a website. UX design is therefore a way of designing interfaces that takes into account the users' needs, their habits and skills as well as the business assumptions regarding the site. All this so that the user can navigate the site easily, without any problems finding the information they are looking for.

This sounds quite complicated, but an iterative process comes to our aid, which at Webo looks like this:

• Collecting requirements – this is the first step we must take in order to design a site. We get to know all assumptions and the company and users of the future site.
• Analysis of the information received – during this stage, we organize all received data. We analyze the communicated needs and assumptions and start conceptual work, developing, among other things, a site map or user paths.
• Creating the product concept – we design the information architecture, sketch the first views, ending with a prototype/skeleton of the site.
• Verification/testing of the prototype – in this stage, we check whether the prototype fulfills the goals and assumptions and whether it responds to user needs.
• Designing the graphic layer – based on the accepted prototype, we design the graphic layout of the new site/store taking into account the brand's visual identity and current trends.
• After going through the design process, it's time for product implementation and development – here we implement the best developed solution for its further improvement during confrontation with the market.

At every stage, contact with our client is very important, as they verify whether the project assumptions have been met, while at the same time reporting their comments and accepting each subsequent stage.
